Yes… a human claw machine. There is so much to explore! We went on a scavenger hunt through Kalahari and uncovered 10 spots you definitely don’t want to miss on your next visit!
1. Hidden Speakeasy: Redd’s Piano Bar
This might be Kalahari’s best-kept secret. Tucked away inside the resort, Redd’s Piano Bar delivers vintage speakeasy vibes, live music, and handcrafted cocktails in a cozy setting that feels worlds away from the waterpark. Bonus: it’s adults-only, making it the perfect nightcap after a full day of family fun.
2. The Human Claw Machine
Ever watched a claw machine and thought, “I could do better myself”? At Kalahari, you literally can! This larger-than-life attraction lets you become the claw as you’re lowered into a pit of prizes. It’s chaotic, hilarious, and absolutely worth the photo op.
3. Texas-Sized Milkshakes at B-LUX Grill & Bar
Subtle? We don’t know that word in Texas! B-LUX serves Texas-sized milkshakes stacked with donuts, cookies, brownies, candy, whipped cream, and enough sugar to fuel an entire weekend at the waterpark. They’re outrageous in the best possible way. Also, yes, people stop and stare when these come out.
4. Build-A-Bear Workshop
Nothing says vacation memories quite like creating your own fuzzy travel buddy! In the middle of the resort, the on-site Build-A-Bear Workshop is a fun stop for kids and kids at heart to design their very own stuffed animal, complete with outfits, accessories, and plenty of personality!

Hidden inside the waterpark, the Grotto is a swim-up cave experience that feels like a secret escape within the resort.
